As it’s cold, rainy and therefore terribly miserable outside I decided to post a bit about my last few weeks in which I’ve learned a lot of useful things. As hobby shooters or ambitious starters or professionals the world should be our classroom. That’s why I decided to spent some time on www.creativelive.com.
And boy oh boy have I learned a lot from so many different people like Mike Wallace who helped me with his workshop to get the most out of my flash and helped me to understand the flash and the environment a lot better. Here’s a link to his class on CreativeLive: http://www.creativelive.com/courses/speedlights-101-mark-wallace. Also check out his website Mark Wallace Photography.
As if that wasn’t enough there was also a nice workshop on social media marketing with Lindsay Adler which you could buy here: Social Media Marketing. Also check out her fashion flair workshop. If you do fashion or portraits or simply love learning a lot you have to watch this! You can now watch CreativeLive on your iPad, iPhone and laptop depending on your location. In order to watch classes live you need to download the uStream app. Quality is fair if you consider the fact that you can watch CreativeLive now everywhere in the world. Simply awesome.
And if you’re a Lightroom user please check out and watch live (last day of class today) Jared Platt’s Lightroom workshop: http://www.creativelive.com/live. Definitely worth watching. First I thought that the course would be over within a day. Instead, Jared created I don’t know how many aha events that I’m highly recommending this course to anyone who wants to make the most out of his/her photography Lightroom workflow. It’s addictive and you’ll definitely learn something you didn’t know before.
